Application Period

The application period for these awards is typically open for one month, and takes place several months preceding  CHBA’s Housing Week in Canada to allow time for judging and ordering the trophies.

Judging

All applications are judged based on the criteria in the applications forms. In recent years, members of the CHBA Executive Committee have acted as judges provided there was no conflict of interest.

Recognition

Award recipients are recognized during Housing Week in Canada, typically at an awards breakfast. The recipient goes up on stage to receive the award, and goes home with a trophy or plaque to display. If the Member of the Year is not in attendance, their EO should accept on their behalf.

CHBA National will promote your accomplishment on its social media channels, giving you some added marketing.
