Building on the fall webinar on the same topic, this webinar will detail the second set of proposed changes introducing “alterations to existing buildings” into the 2025 National Construction Codes. We will discuss proposed changes for renovations involving water heating systems, windows, doors, airtightness, HVAC systems, and above and below grade walls. We will also explain the code process and provide a quick recap on the previous industry comments, principles and process used for the development of these requirements before diving into the proposed code changes that are featured in the Winter 2024 Public Review.
Presented by:
- Frank Lohmann, Director, Building Science, CHBA
- Sarah Caron, Director, Renovation Services, CHBA
