Local Energy Efficiency Partnerships (LEEP) 2.0: What’s coming next for builders and renovators?
Local Energy Efficiency Partnerships (LEEP) 2.0: What’s coming next for builders and renovators?
Are you looking for that next generation of durable and cost effective wall systems that will get you over the Net Zero hump? What about the next mechanical system to efficiently provide comfort for your high performance homes?
LEEP uses a builder driven approach, where builders decide which technologies to focus on and where they are most interested in applying them, ask the tough questions that need answering, and decide on which manufacturers and other experts they want to hear from. Manufacturers think through these challenges and develop presentations. Local builders and their sub-trades and service providers come to LEEP Technology Forums to learn about competing solutions to the challenges set by their industry.
A new version of LEEP to meet renovator needs is under development.
This webinar provided:
- builder workshop and field trial highlights to-date from the BC LEEP initiative,
- LEEP’s current roll-out approach for new and retrofit housing, and a pilot in MURBs,
- information on upcoming LEEP Forums and Workshops, and
- an overview of a LEEP costing worksheet that CHBA will soon make available to Net Zero builders.
