Task Group (TG) on Flood Resistant Design
The Task Group, chaired by Paul Meyer, held its first meeting, which provided a high-level overview of the National Building Code (NBC). The group reviewed the purpose of the functional and objective statements and noted the challenges associated with modifying these elements, as changes affect the entire Code system. The rest of the meeting focused on Part 4 of the NBC, and the group agreed that Part 9 will be discussed at the next meeting.
