Moving demising or partition walls can often be completed without affecting overall energy use and therefore may not warrant triggering upgrade requirements. Changes in occupancy were discussed as well, as they can significantly influence building energy consumption and system performance. As a result, occupancy changes were identified as a potential trigger for upgrade requirements.
