The joint task group (JTG) reviewed comments on the archetype drawings to be used for future cumulative Part 9 impact analysis. This included CHBA's comments on identifying clearances from the ground, roof slopes and types of foundation, etc. The JTG members thought it was a good idea to put these things on the drawings as basic assumptions so that future code changes are always based on the same construction specs.
Other changes referred to the flow chart that determines which principles of the impact analysis would apply (current principles are in Appendix G of the Policies and Procedures (P&P).. NRC staff indicated that the P&P numbering of the principles would remain the same. CHBA asked that the JTG report include a statement that the JTG did not attempt to address affordability other than bringing a common costing benchmark to all changes related to housing. The JTG agreed to include such a statement.
