The Design Studio | MTS Renovations is a pillar in Alberta’s design and construct industry. We are a long standing locally owned and managed, family run business with a solid reputation built on quality workmanship, fair pricing and exceptional customer care. Our staff is rigorously vetted and trained to meet our high standard of customer care excellence and meticulous project workmanship. 

The Design Studio | MTS Renovations custom builds our project packages, rather than offering a rigid set of service packages. We offer design services, virtual design services, drafting services, permitting services real estate measurement services and construction services; our services are available as a bundled package as well as individually and are customized to meet the needs of every large and small scale project and every commercial and residential client.

We are forward minded in terms of energy efficient builds, new electrical requirements for vehicles and stay abreast of all provincial rebates. We are focussed on doing things right and are committed to meeting or exceeding building codes and municipal requirements. 

We believe in consistent improvement and value added learning to continue to serve our clients in the most actionable ways with current trends and needs in mind. An example of this continued educational and service standard is our current undertaking through Lakeland College. As of May 2024 we will be certified as National Energy Advisors and begin offering Energy Audits as a value added service to support our clients as they move into the new NetZero mindset. 

We understand well the dynamic needs of both the older resident family’s and newer resident family’s, as well as established and new businesses to an area and account for state of the client now while helping them plan for the 5 year and the 10 year future.

We work closely with municipalities to ensure permitting is in-line and on-time for our projects and often provide client representation for complex permitting issues such as new development and wetlands area developments as a niche service.

We are local in terms of our projects. This is a true benefit in terms of construction as we can be on site quickly for any unforeseen requirements that fall within or outside of regular business hours and operations.
