The EOC Professional Development Forum brings together executive officers and HBA staff from across the country for two days to learn the latest techniques and skills for building and maintaining a strong and effective association.

Location

The JAG Hotel, St. John's Newfoundland

CHBA has reserved a room block at The JAG Hotel in St. John’s, NFLD. Meeting attendees will reference the Canadian Home Builders’ Association when making reservations. The room charge is $229/night. Please book your accommodations by calling +1-844-564-1524 before the block expires on May 19. (Note that online booking in the room block is not available).

Reservation Guarantee: The Hotel may require a deposit in advance from individual guests to guarantee a particular reservation. To guarantee a reservation, guests must provide a valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express to secure their booking. Cash, Interac or Visa/MasterCard debit will not be acceptable forms of guarantee. 

Cancellation and No Show: In the event a meeting attendee who has reserved a room within the Room Block checks out prior to the reserved checkout date, the Hotel shall not charge an early departure fee, provided minimum stay requirements have been met. Otherwise, an early cancellation fee of 50% of the one-night room rate may apply. Meeting attendees shall be instructed to make every effort to inform the Hotel of any changes to their planned length of stay.

  • For hotel guests, there is valet service at a rate of $15/day + taxes, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • There are limited free on-street parking spots surrounding the hotel.
